Simon grew up with the Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga before moving on to IBM-compatible PCs and playing network Doom whilst studying for an Information Technology degree.
Since then, he has worked with both large and small organisations, helping people make the most of technology. Although much of his professional work has focused on data, databases, websites and web applications, he has broad experience across desktop computing, servers, networking, telecoms, printing and business systems.
Through Mister Bits, Simon provides friendly technology help for people and small businesses in Eastbourne. His aim is simple: to offer practical advice, clear explanations and sensible solutions without unnecessary jargon.
When he’s not wrestling with technology, Simon can often be found writing, researching, walking, keeping up with current affairs or exploring subjects ranging from history and science to space and politics.
